The Lakehouse by Red Rooster Inn is located on old Lake Hillsboro in what used to be the Beach House. The Beach House building was used as the restroom and snack bar facility for the Public Beach. When the City of Hillsboro closed the Public Beach, the building lacked purpose and sat empty.
The building has been renovated and two very special overnight accommodations have been created. The location is close to 4th of July Point, Sherwood Forest Campground, Glenn Shoals Lake South Marina, Hillsboro Country Club Golf Course, and is just a few miles from downtown Hillsboro. The tranquil lake setting will prove to be a peaceful retreat from hectic life and a wonderful place to unwind while visiting local family and friends
The larger unit features two bedrooms each with queen beds as well as a full kitchen and a four piece restroom. There is a dining table for six and an ample living room seating area. The unit comfortably sleeps 5 people as there is also a twin roll away in the unit.
Guests will have access to two on-site kayaks at any time during their visit. Kayaks are a terrific way to enjoy beautiful Lake Hillsboro.

The studio unit features a full size bed, a small seating area, a small dining area, and a convenient kitchenette featuring a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. The three piece washroom features a zero entry shower as well as grab bars surrounding shower and toilet area. The unit comfortably sleeps 2 people.
